This would be a great example of a social media tool a blogger could use to network.

Make a list of best young blogs--linking to them creates relationships with the authors, possibly put them on a blog roll. These bloggers will get to know you, possibly link back to you and open up opportunities.

Be careful not to appear as linkbait--only make a list if you are providing quality content, not if you are just going to throw a bunch of names in a post, to get trackbacks....

Yea lists are a great way to connect. The author of this 1 emailed me and made it a point to let me know I was included. Doing that to 100 people who are most likely active in social networks is a great way to promote the post and get it into each of the authors personal networks.

Not to mention getting them to check out your site and what you do.

There is no real good way to it. We can build a list and "feature" them on the homepage. But there isn't a way to stream in say our top 10 blogs and their posts.

But still featuring some blogs isn't a bad idea and we've definitely thought about it before.
