Who's going to be what they want when they grow up?

Every since i was 4 and had my lemonade stand, i knew i wanted to be a businessman.

Besides wanting to be a cartographer and an NBA baller, YES, i'm an entrepreneur...

Are you going to go out and fulfill your childhood dreams?

Everyone wants to be successful. Why be successful, but miserable on the job? To me that is not worth it. I have always thought about starting a business with a couple of friends where I handle the financial end. My friends would use expertise from their respective areas of major from college. I want to be successful and enjoy what I do each day.

I agree josh--that's what we're all about on this site, getting people passionate about what they do.

I'm going to start another discussion on how people define success...

I've always wanted to be an entrepreneur and am one still and will always be one.

So yeah, I am.

Nice Andrew, glad to hear it. Any industry that got your attention while you were young?

Matt, I had been thinking about that a lot with the whole college thing coming up in my life. I realized that at the core I'm an entrepreneur who crosses industry interests all the time. I generally am what I consider a "Green Entrepreneur" and my main area right now is the Aquarium Industry with my "Rumford Aquatics" venture. I'm also a privet sailing instructor during the summer months. With that said, on Friday I've scheduled a meeting with some other potential partners for a novelty shirt company I wrote up a business plan for last year, and just hours ago was researching how a Credit Derivative works. A few months ago I was looking into the feasibility of a biotech startup that I may try to shake a stick at later on (post college) when I can invest more capital and have access to more facilities and whatnot...

But when I was real young it was the lemon business and the Pokémon trading card business that I focused on.

Maybe I'm crazy or have ADHD or a mix of both?

Matt just like you I wanted to be in the NBA or MLS haha but now I've gone back to the Entrepreneurial bug that I first got in 2nd grade when I started selling LifeSaver mints for $0.05 out of my cubby hole locker haha

I will be a successful Entrepreneur no matter what and am glad I found this group :)

Hey Chris, glad to hear you are still hustling since the days of lifesavers from your cubby hole. I just don't quite have the ups for the NBA
