Business in Sports: When Around $1.5 Billion Buys a Dump

Both New York baseball teams opened new stadiums with this new season of MLB.

I went to Citi Field for a Red Sox-Mets exhibition game, April 4th, and the place is remarkable. Once you step foot in Citi Field, you realize what was wrong with Shea Stadium.

Business in Sports: Sports are Truly Insignificant in the Grand Scheme of Life

Terrible news on the morning of April 9th. Nick Adenhart, who started Wednesday night for the Los Angeles Angels, was killed (along with two others) by a drunk driver who ran a red light. He was only twenty-two years old, a little over a year older than me. What a shame. I send my condolences out to the Adenhart family and to everyone that knew Nick.
